Orley is a designer menswear collection founded by Matthew Orley, Alex Orley, and Samantha Florence that launched with a capsule collection of Italian-made knitwear for Fall/Winter 2012 and expanded into a full ready-to-wear collection for Spring/Summer 2014. The brand is known for its combination of elegant and irreverent design with a focus on luxury knitwear and commitment to the highest quality materials and manufacturing. For Fall/Winter 2014, the trio showcased a sophisticated, totally modern interpretation of the very best of men’s classics starting with thick warm car coats and turtleneck sweaters we could use right now. Too bad, with this stormy weather, the pieces aren’t available right now.
Equally as impressive were the various accessories that added to the totality of presentation, especially the gloves in Italian leather and silk. The collection, a seamless mix of city and country dressing, hit all the right notes and bears well for the future of Orley in the marketplace. Bravo on a job well done.

NICK GRAHAM IS TRULY ONE OF MY TOP FIVE FAVORITE PEOPLE IN THE FASHION INDUSTRY. As founder and Chief Underpants Officer of the ubiquitous JOE BOXER brand, Nick, in more ways than one, changed the face of men’s furnishings and fashion when he turned his underwear company into one of America’s most popular lifestyle brands.
Over the last decade and after haven sold JOE BOXER, Nick has worked with a diverse list of global retailers and apparel brands and has developed and launched numerous apparel brands with a distribution of over 10,000 stores in the United States.
When I last saw Nick at NYFW in September, he mentioned that he was launching a new line under his own name. On December 10, he launched the Nick Graham Men’s Line at a Pop-Up store in New York City, introducing the line to the press and customers alike. The new collection–entitled “NEW YORK”, focuses on the monochromatic use of black and white, Nick’s two favorite colors and a staple in the collection–will initially focus on the Men’s Apparel and Accessories market, and then branch out into other categories over time. The “NEW YORK” collection consists of shirt ($99.00, http://nickgraham.com/collections/shirts), underwear ($18.00, http://nickgraham.com/collections/underwear), Neckwear (Bowties, $59; Ties, $49; scarves, $150; pocket squares, $39; http://nickgraham.com/collections/neckwear), T-Shirts ($29, http://nickgraham.com/collections/knits), 3D jewelry ($75, http://nickgraham.com/collections/3d-jewelry), and Carryall ($39, http://nickgraham.com/collections/sport).
Over the coming year, Nick and Company will offer an evolving range of collections and expansive offerings of new and innovative Menswear products. To give you a sense of how this will play out, here is a glimpse into our future offerings:
Following “NEW YORK” is the “GILLIGAN’S ISLAND” COLLECTION: nautically-inspired prints and themes perfect for getting lost on a desert island. Get the yacht polished and grab your Mary Ann (or Gilligan). This will be followed in summer by the “DINNER PARTY AT BURNING MAN COLLECTION”, an explosion of color and prints worthy of an all-nighter on the Playa.
In celebration of Bermuda, he will offer what they call “BERMUDADA”, a pink and white collection to turn surrealists’ heads. Get your shorts ready, pirates! He will also be doing capsule collections around holidays and themes such as Valentine in the “I FELL IN LOVE AND ALL I GOT WAS THIS STUPID TEE SHIRT.” Collection
In other words, check in often at www.nickgraham.com because there will always be new stuff going on.
The eminently quotable Nick Graham has the final word (as he should): “We’re happy to have you aboard our spaceship (or canoe), and if you do have some wacky, wonderful and inspired idea you’d like to see realized, let us know.”

The new collection features romantic, ethereal gowns (which will retails from $3,000 to $8,000) that delicately highlight the body, embodying streamlined elegance without detracting from the beauty of the bride. Sensual lace overlays and silk petals and are strewn with delicate adornments like luminescent pearls and crystals, adding subtle glamour to each piece. These flowing gowns envelope the bride like a second skin that accentuates her elegance and beauty.
