The Life is Beautiful Music & Art Festival has officially announced the highly anticipated music, art and comedy lineups for the 2017 festival. Returning for the fifth year, the three-day event will transform Downtown Las Vegas into a fully immersive celebration of music, art, food and ideas, Sept. 22-24.

From GRAMMY Award winners to emerging artists, the Life is Beautiful music lineup features more than 60 unique and exciting acts, designed to delight and entertain festivalgoers. This year’s artists include the 2017 GRAMMY Award-winning “Best New Artist” Chance the Rapper, chart-topping progressive rock band Muse, British virtual band Gorillaz, pop songstress Lorde, legendary rockers Blink-182, indie pop trio The xx, American DJ and producer Kaskade, and many more.1-3.jpg

Life is Beautiful is a yearlong movement that culminates in a three-day celebration held in the heart of Downtown Las Vegas. The annual festival brings together people from all walks of life to create an experience centered in music, art, taste and ideas. That gathering, by its very nature, becomes a platform in which positivity prevails, culture and creativity thrive and transformation occurs.

Returning for its fifth year Sept. 22-24, Life is Beautiful features marquee musicians, chefs, artists and speakers. Recently named “Music Festival of the Year” by Pollstar, Life is Beautiful attracted more than 137,000 attendees in 2016 and welcomed headliners including Mumford & Sons, J. Cole, Major Lazer, G-Eazy, The Lumineers and much more.

Jockey International, Inc. (Jockey) today announced an addition to its inspiring brand campaign Show ‘Em What’s Underneath, Show ‘Em Your Jockey. The newest hero, war orphan turned ballerina, Michaela DePrince, demonstrates that with hope, anything is possible.

The #ShowEm campaign introduces DePrince proudly wearing Jockey in a personal, intimate video and series of portraits illustrating what’s underneath it all, both literally and figuratively. #ShowEm honors everyday heroes who embody the spirit and values of Jockey and the characteristics that make them unique, like perseverance, courage, family and hope.

Michaela’s story from survival to success made her an ideal hero for the #ShowEm campaign,” said Matthew Waller, senior manager of corporate communications and brand partnerships, Jockey.We’re so proud to be able to amplify Michaela’s story and be a part of her life as she continues to realize her dream and inspire others by conveying the message of ‘hope’.”

DePrince has faced many obstacles in her young life, including the loss of her parents, Sierra Leone’s civil war, growing up with Vitiligo and being abandoned at an orphanage. At age 4, She was adopted by an American family and became one of 11 children. Throughout her childhood, DePrince trained as a ballet dancer and earned a scholarship to the prestigious Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School at the American Ballet Theatre.
