Gemma di Luna is a premium Italian sparkling wine intended to elevate the Moscato experience. The wine is crafted from premium Moscato grapes grown in Italy’s Piemonte region and boasts a fuller effervescence than the gentle frizzante style typical of moscato for a fully sparkling or “spumante” quality. The wine displays a lovely straw color and an intense, yet delicate bouquet with juicy grape notes and the luscious fresh fruit flavors of nectarine, peach and apple balanced by a vibrant acidity. Winemakers Walter Zuccotto and Michela Bandinelli worked together to create a Sparkling Moscato of superior quality, and at 7.5% ABV, Gemma di Luna also satisfies the growing consumer trend towards lower alcohol choices.

The Gemma di Luna bottle reflects the creativity and quality of the wine inside. The distinctive teal bottle is adorned with a pearl white label and capsule enhanced with a laser foil effect reminiscent of pavé diamonds.

Gemma di Luna represents and delivers on the dedication of Enovation Brands to create, differentiate and innovate for today’s adventurous consumer,” said Lisa Schuster, National Marketing Director. “We will continue to meet their insatiable appetite for discovery, break down barriers and biases in the wine space and unabashedly meet this need head on with relevant, story driven, purposeful products like Gemma di Luna.

The marketing campaign behind Gemma di Luna presents the wine as “Italy’s New Gem” and stems from the meaning of the brand name, “Gem of the Moon“. The color scheme and sparkling aspect of the packaging are reflected across the marketing mix. Social media will inspire and engage consumers with the call to create and share their “Gemma Moments“, while a targeted events platform will engage the bridal and special events communities from both a consumer and trade perspective.logo_GEMMA DI LUNA

Gemma di Luna is available nationwide for a suggested retail price of $16.99. For U.S. sales and distribution inquiries, please contact 305-794-4668 or info@enovationbrands.com. More info is available at www.gemmadiluna.wine.

The Memorial is the primary feature of a new public park, the New York City AIDS Memorial Park at St. Vincent’s Triangle. The park sits between Seventh Avenue, Greenwich Avenue and West 12th Street in Manhattan’s West Village neighborhood and is the culmination of five years of planning and development. The Memorial project was launched in 2011 by Christopher Tepper and Paul Kelterborn to recognize and preserve the history of the AIDS crisis through the creation of a memorial to honor New York City’s 100,000+ men, women and children who have died from AIDS, and to commemorate and celebrate the efforts of the caregivers and activists who responded heroically to the crisis and continue to work towards the end of AIDS today. More than $6 million has been raised for the design, construction and maintenance of the Memorial, which has benefited from the generosity of many notable contributors, including world-renowned visual artist Jenny Holzer.

This World AIDS Day program will be emceed by Tony Award-winning performer Billy Porter. The program will feature a formal dedication by the New York City AIDS Memorial Board of Directors, words from elected officials, a memorial reading of names, a poetry reading by Kamilah Aisha Moon, and a performance by the New York City Gay Men’s Chorus. Representatives from the State and City Health Departments will also speak.

END AIDS NY 2020 is a statewide coalition of over 70 organizations and individuals committed to seeing an end to the HIV/AIDS epidemic in New York through initiatives that expand access to testing, treatment, prevention, as well as housing and other vital services. We have the power to reduce annual new HIV infections from roughly 3,000 to under 750 and eliminate HIV/ AIDS-related deaths by the year 2020. The coalition has been working together on policy and also has joined forces for a New York-wide World AIDS Day event for the past two years at the Apollo Theater.

Wolfgang Puck, has launched CUT Lounge, a new bar and lounge experience at the Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel.

Together, Wolfgang, Corporate Executive Chef/Partner Lee Hefter and Head Chef Ari Rosenson have named Hilary Henderson as Chef de Cuisine, and Angela Tong as Pastry Chef. Both women have long histories working for the Wolfgang Puck family. Most recently, Chef Tong worked under the direction of Spago Beverly Hills Executive Pastry Chef Della Gossett, while Chef Henderson has worked alongside Chef Ari as Sous Chef of CUT Beverly Hills, in addition to several other roles within the Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining collection. Rounding out the new team is Terence Leavey who joins CUT as Beverage Director, having previously worked under Phillip Dunn at Spago Beverly Hills as a sommelier.

Menu

A new Rough CUT menu and expanded beverage offering take center stage at the new bar and lounge. Guests can look forward to a new collection of shaken, stirred and straight-up cocktails, as well as a list of wine and spirits including an extensive selection of rare whiskies from Scotland, Japan and beyond. Soon, a vintage Negroni cart will be found strolling the floor serving custom and classic versions of the signature cocktail tableside. The new Rough CUTs menu ranges from seafood forward dishes such as the crispy kataifi wrapped prawns with garlic chili ponzu and shaved bonito to an Alaskan king crab and Santa Barbara uni “cocktail” on avocado toast. Various meat-centric options including a chicken liver “pastrami” with black bread and honey mustard, and a curry beef puff with Yukon gold potato, sweet onions and nonya curry are also available. Guests can also look forward to a variety of CUT favorites such as the American wagyu steak skewers, truffle grilled cheese and bone marrow toast with oxtail marmalade, as well as a selection of larger, entrée-sized options from a second menu coined “CUT Originals.”

Wolfgang and his wife Gelila Assefa Puck joined forces with Waldo Fernandez of Waldo’s Designs to re-imagine the former sidebar. With seating for more than 60 guests, CUT Lounge now speaks to a new generation of clientele, creating a warm and sophisticated environment. Guests enter the bar and lounge through two oversized steel and glass doors that create a sense of intimacy and allow for seclusion from the busy Hotel lobby. A neutral palette of beige, browns and greys accent the mid-century modern furnishings and finishes throughout the space. Visitors are welcome to relax on one of the various couches or chairs located throughout the lounge or grab a stool at the newly refinished bar. The mix of modern furniture and accent pieces adds a contemporary twist to the space, while maintaining the sophistication and timelessness of the storied Hotel.

CUT is open 6:00–10:00 pm Monday–Thursday, 6:00–11:00 pm Friday, 5:30–11:00 pm Saturday, and closed Sunday. CUT Lounge is open 5:00 pm – 1:30 am Monday–Saturday and is closed Sunday. For reservations at CUT or CUT Lounge call 310 276 8500 or visit www.wolfgangpuck.com.

2016 Holiday Entertaining: Stella Artois Inspires Others To ‘Host One to Remember’ This Holiday With The Help Of Hostess Extraordinaire Chrissy Teigen

Share How You’re Infusing Your Personal Style Into The Season With @StellaArtois and #HostOneToRemember.

Stella Artois continues its “Host One to Remember” campaign this season by inspiring consumers to put their own personal touch on entertaining during the holidays. The multi-faceted, season-long holiday campaign launches this month with a series of unique events, innovative collaborations and a new national advertising campaign. Drawing on the brand’s Belgian heritage, Stella Artois has collaborated with a team of extraordinary hosts, including model, TV host and The New York Times bestselling cookbook author Chrissy Teigen, to encourage consumers to put their own personal touch on holiday entertaining this year.Stella Artois Logo

Stella Artois was originally named after a star and crafted as a holiday gift for the people of Leuven, Belgium, so holiday hosting isn’t new for Stella Artois; it’s who we are,” said Harry Lewis, vice president, Stella Artois. “This season, we’re celebrating our Belgian origins and encouraging others to bring their own passion and personal style to holiday hosting to create special moments that will last forever.

Stella Artois Leaves Its Mark with a New Take on Holiday Hosting

A continuation of the brand’s successful “Host One to Remember” summer platform, the holiday campaign celebrates timeless hosting moments, re-imagined for the winter season. To share the story of its own Belgian beginnings and legacy of hosting, Stella Artois revealed a series of new creative components this season including out-of-home, digital, print and a set of :15 and :30 television ads. To bring the brand’s holiday hosting origins to life during this special time of year, the new spot showcases Stella Artois’ founder and master brewer struggling to deliver his first batch of beer on a snowy Christmas Eve in Leuven, until he gets some help from a herd of reindeer.

Make the Holiday Occasion More Special with Stella Artois

Stella Artois is further encouraging people to put their personal touch on hosting during the holidays through a series of partnerships, as well as online and off-premise activations that inspire others to “Host One to Remember”.

  • Inspired Gifting: Stella Artois has launched two new limited-edition gift packs this year – one featuring Stella Artois classic European-style lager and another with Stella Artois Cidre – making sophisticated gifting easier than ever. Designed to be enjoyed with friends and loved ones, both packs are available at retailers nationwide and through e-commerce delivery partners Drizly and Minibar in New York City.
  • Immersive Shopping Experiences: For the second year in a row, Stella Artois has partnered with Gilt to provide hosting and gift guide recommendations in real-time through the Gilt app and website, and through their premium holiday lounge in their New York City flagship store, Saks Off 5th. The brand’s legacy will be brought to life in a series of 12 hosted events as shoppers are offered a perfectly poured Stella Artois, premium gift wrapping services and custom engraved limited edition holiday chalices. Consumers outside of New York City will be able to redeem a complimentary gift with purchase holiday chalice when they shop the gift guides (restrictions apply).
  • Telling an Unexpected Holiday Story: Stella Artois is utilizing digital platforms to inspire others to host in new settings and styles – including an immersive consumer experience through an interactive Instagram story that allows users to craft their own Stella Artois Cidre Berry Hot Toddy cocktail right in-feed.
  • A Stella Artois Take on Holiday Cocktail Menus: Stella Artois tapped notable mixologists and chefs from across the country to create original cocktail recipes featuring Stella Artois Cidre, as well as unique holiday food pairings that are perfect for impressing guests while entertaining at home – such as a Stella Artois Cidre Sangria Punch paired with Spanish charcuterie, or the Stella Artois Cidre Coconut Spice Cocktail designed to complement the flavors of spicier dishes.

Borrowing from that same heritage, Stella Artois will put a modern day twist on an old Belgian tradition, the “King’s Feast” – a celebration of Belgium’s unique culture observed every year on November 15th. Stella Artois has collaborated with a few notable hosts to help bring the “King’s Feast” to the U.S. for the first time, and treat guests to a sophisticated holiday feast hosted by queen of the kitchen Chrissy Teigen and master of contemporary Belgian cuisine and former Stella Artois brand ambassador, Bart Vandaele.

When I think about hosting a party to remember, the first thing that comes to mind is food – especially during the holidays,” said Teigen. “I love putting my own spin on traditional dishes when I’m cooking for friends and family – and I always include Stella Artois as the perfect addition for ultimate holiday fun!

In celebration of the campaign, Teigen and Chef Vandaele will share how they are putting their personal touch on the holiday season – including the creation of a modern day “King’s Feast” menu designed to complement the flavor profile of Stella Artois. Teigen will unveil an original recipe for her own take on Belgian mussels with Thai flavors, Chrissy’s Spicy Mussels with Stella Artois, alongside Chef Vandaele’s twist on Belgium’s Classic Beef Stew, Stella Artois King’s Feast Carbonnade a la Flamande, both made with the iconic Stella Artois lager.
