CEO & Co-Founder, Afeisha James Kipps, comes to Wedspire after a prolific and wide-ranging career in event management. She has helped plan large-scale festivals and conferences, including Caribana, the largest Caribbean festival in North America, where she served as the Arts & Entertainment Chair. When Kipps transitioned to her role as the events director at an international hotelier, the memorable experience of working on several large weddings there led her to fall in love with the wedding industry. Passionate about catering to every couple’s unique style and vision, she founded Wedspire with her husband, Kevon Kipps, in order to do just that by pairing couples with the best wedding vendors in the industry.
President & Co-Founder, Kevon Kipps is a tech guru who understands the strong potential of cutting-edge technologies to improve the experience of today’s consumers. With an education in operating systems management, he has an intuitive understanding of software development and has implemented smart system designs for both startups and large corporations. His leap into his latest innovative venture, Wedspire, allows him to harness the power of smart technologies to improve the wedding planning experience for all couples. (It doesn’t hurt that he gets to work on this dream project with his wife, Afeisha.)
