Lord & Taylor To Work Towards A World With Less Cancer Through Charity Days To Benefit The American Cancer Society
All-Store Events Will Celebrate Cancer Survivors and Their Support Networks
Lord & Taylor is proud to announce that its fall 2016 Charity Days will take place on Friday, September 30 and Saturday, October 1, and honor cancer survivors and their support communities. All 50 Lord & Taylor stores and www.lordandtaylor.com will participate in the effort to raise funds for the American Cancer Society®.
Charity Days: Let’s Do Something Good Together is a two-day shopping event that this season will include a fashion presentation celebrating the spirit and beauty of those who have survived cancer, modeling looks from Lord & Taylor’s fall fashion collections. Additionally, stores will offer special discounts, local entertainment, gifts with purchase opportunities, activities, refreshments and so much more!
This season’s charity partner is the American Cancer Society whose vision is a world free of the pain and suffering of cancer. From prevention to diagnosis, from treatment to recovery, the Society is there every step of the way.
With the purchase of a $5 ticket, customers will receive a storewide savings pass of 20% off regular and sale-priced items, and 10% off cosmetics and fragrances, plus two 30% bonus coupons for single-item discounts (for use on September 30 and October 1 only; some exclusions apply). Tickets are available for purchase now at any Lord & Taylor store. 100% of the sales price from ticket sales will benefit American Cancer Society. Lord & Taylor will make a minimum contribution of $25,000.
“We are honored to support American Cancer Society to raise funds and celebrate the bravery of those who have battled cancer,” said Liz Rodbell, President, Hudson’s Bay and Lord & Taylor. “Lord & Taylor has a long history of community involvement, and we are proud to celebrate the survivors’ journeys in this way.”
Customers can also receive 30% off online purchases of $250 or more, or 20% off online purchases up to $249.99. 1% of the net sales from www.lordandtaylor.com on September 30 and October 1, up to a maximum of $5000, will benefit the American Cancer Society (some exclusions apply).
