This marks the third consecutive year that DeLeón Tequila has received this honor. No other spirits brand in the 25-year history of the Robb Report has received the “Best of the Best” award three years in a row.

The Destructor is a powerfully masculine wristwatch designed for both high visual impact and high performance. It’s tough, aggressive design features a massive 46mm case, with a precision made bracelet held in place by knurled screws that punctuate the sporty lines of this boldly sophisticated men’s technical watch.

The timing function of the watch –it’s a chronograph, integrating stopwatch functionality as well as telling the time and date –is underscored by the colored chronograph start button, which is matched by the central elapsed seconds hand. The dial and hands are protected by a crystal made of synthetic sapphire. Completing the design are a screwed-down crown and screwed-down caseback, which seal the watch against the intrusion of moisture.

It is equally as strong on performance as well: The case is water resistant to 30 atmospheres, or 300 meters, fitted with a one-way rotating timing bezel – which together, qualify it for use in SCUBA diving, according to the international standard for diver’s watches. The Destructor is instantly legible thanks to its large diameter, ruggedly geometric design, and the generous use of luminous material on the hands (in addition, some models are available with a fully luminous dial.)

Alan Parsons Project’s I Robot: Legacy Edition Celebrates 35 Years of a Rock Album Classic

Remaster of original 1977 concept album inspired by Isaac Asimov writings, now coupled with second disc of bonus material including nine previously unreleased tracks

The art of the concept album, as developed and refined by the Alan Parsons Project over the course of their 10 albums released between 1976 and 1987, is celebrated with the release of I Robot: Legacy Edition (35th Anniversary). The title arrives in stores September 17, 2013 on Arista/Legacy, a division of Sony Music Entertainment.  (Pre-order now at


The first CD of this commemorative package will comprise a newly remastered version of the APP’s first classic RIAA-platinum Arista album, which has generated multi-platinum worldwide sales, and included the U.S. Top 40 single, “I Wouldn’t Want To Be Like You.”  The second CD features 14 tracks of bonus tracks from the Sony Music archives, nine of which are previously unreleased.

The production of I Robot: Legacy Edition (35th Anniversary) has been personally overseen by Alan Parsons and Sally Woolfson, the daughter of APP songwriter, manager, lead singer and musician, the late Eric Woolfson (1945-2009).  The accompanying 20-page booklet will include a new liner notes essay by Alan Parsons, plus the lyrics as published in the original LP, rare archival photo­graphy, and other memorabilia.

I Robot: Legacy Edition (35th Anniversary) is also the prelude to the early 2014 release of The Alan Parsons Project Complete Album Collection.  This upcoming 11-CD package marks the first time that all 10 of the original albums by the APP have been issued together in a box set, including the 1976 debut, Tales of Mystery and Imagination: Edgar Allan Poe (from 20th Century/Mercury/Universal).  The 11th CD, The Sicilian Defence, was originally intended as the fourth Arista LP, circa 1979-80, but went unreleased (and unheard) until this box set appearance.

Parsons and Woolfson met in the mid-1970s at EMI’s Abbey Road Studios in London where Parsons had been employed since the end of the ’60s as an assistant engineer when the Beatles recorded Let It Be and Abbey Road.  Parsons went on to become renowned as the engineer on Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of The Moon, and became a successful producer working with Cockney Rebel, Pilot, Al Stewart, John Miles, Ambrosia, and others.

Woolfson was a talented Glasgow-based composer who had been recruited by Andrew Loog Oldham in London.  It is ingrained in rock history that Oldham sent Woolfson into a room with a piano, and told him not to come out until he’d written a song for every artist in the Top 10. Woolfson did exactly that, and went on to amass credits for hits by Marianne Faithfull, the Tremeloes, Marmalade and many others. Woolfson would go on to become principal songwriter and lyricist (and often keyboard player and lead vocalist) for the Alan Parsons Project, as well as acting as Manager.  When the group had run its course he moved on to a career in musical theatre around the world. These watches, like their other Pilot counterparts, are clearly legible due to the bold, crisp white numbering and hands used and all feature bold red aluminum pushers and all models are 5 ATM water resistant.

The three new looks unveiled, available in both 45mm and 48mm executions, differ primarily from the regular Pilot collection thanks to the use of the Chronograph Big Calibre Miyota 6S20 movement – accurate to 1/20th of a second. Offering an event sportier appearance to the watch face, the theme of Sahara Force India is further incorporated courtesy of a stylish carbon fibre dial, complete with the flag logo of the team placed neatly below the famed two-dots logo of TW Steel.

All models in the new collection, TW428 (45mm) / TW429 (48mm) / TW432 (45mm) / TW433 (48mm), with the exception of TW430 (45mm) and TW431 (48mm), sport a masculine brushed steel case with shiny steel bezel, while the aforementioned exceptions instead boast a sandblasted steel case with PVD dark titanium coating and a shiny bezel – also with a PVD dark titanium coating.

A notable feature of TW428 and TW429 is the use of a white silicon strap featuring the Sahara Force India logo in grey – this has been double injected and layered on top of the strap for an even more distinguished finish. TW430 and TW431 feature a dark grey leather strap with a PVD dark titanium coated clasp while TW432 and TW433 enjoy a stylish black leather strap with red stitching and a brushed steel clasp.
