DASSAULT FALCON ESTABLISHES CHINESE SUBSIDIARY

DASSAULT FALCON has established a ‘wholly owned foreign entity‘ to represent the Falcon brand in the growing Chinese market. The subsidiary, known as DASSAULT FALCON BUSINESS SERVICES (BEIJING) CO. LTD, is based in Beijing, China. MR. JEAN MICHEL JACOB has been named General Manager of the subsidiary and MR JEAN ROSANVALLON, the Chairman.

DASSAULT FALCON is responsible for selling and supporting FALCON BUSINESS JETS throughout the world. It is part of DASSAULT AVIATION, a leading aerospace company with a presence in over 70 countries across five continents. DASSAULT AVIATION produces the RAFALE FIGHTER JET as well as the complete line of Falcon business jets. The company has assembly and production plants in both France and the United States and service facilities on multiple continents. It employs a total workforce of over 12,000. Since the rollout of the first FALCON 20 in 1963, over 2,100 Falcon jets have been delivered to 67 countries worldwide.

“TOP GUN” DEBUTS ON BLU-RAY 3D™/ BLU-RAY 2D™ TWO-DISC SET FEBRUARY 19, 2013

“TOP GUN,” the PARAMOUNT PICTURES‘ 1986 modern classic from director TONY SCOTT, producers DON SIMPSON and JERRY BRUCKHEIMER, and starring TOM CRUISE, takes off on a new adventure with an exclusive six-day 3D engagement in select IMAX® theatres beginning February 8, 2013. The film has been re-mastered for the IMAX® 3D release and subsequent debut on Blu-ray.

The “TOP GUN” Blu-ray 3D disc presents the film with pristine high definition picture and sparkling sound in spectacular 3D for the ultimate home viewing experience. The Blu-ray 2D includes the re-mastered film in high definition, along with a six-part documentary on the making of the movie, a behind-the-scenes featurette, interviews with Tom Cruise, commentary by producer Jerry Bruckheimer, director Tony Scott, co-screenwriter JACK EPPS, JR. and more.  The two-disc set available for purchase also includes a digital copy of the film and will be enabled with UltraViolet technology.

The 2013 DASSAULT FALCON CALENDAR was especially designed around the upcoming celebration of FALCONS’ 50^TH ANNIVERSARY. For this, Dassault turned to WILFRID BUCH, a talented artist who used as his inspiration, a variety of 1960s design motifs.

Buch created a series of vintage and avant-garde posters. In his mind, these are today’s Falcons as they might have looked a half century ago. Those zany graphics, atypical fonts, psychedelic lines, improbable color blends – all evocative of the 60′.
